WELLNESS EXAMS

 

We'll ask you questions about your pet's overall lifestyle:

During the pet's physical exam the doctor observes or inspects:

  •      Weight and Temperature

  •      How the pet walks or stands

  •      Whether the pet is bright and alert

  •      Pet's body condition

  •      Haircoat & Skin

  •      Eyes, Ears, Nose & Throat

  •      Mouth, Teeth & Gums

  •      Legs & Paws

  •      Heart

  •      Abdomen

  •      Lungs

     

Depending on the findings from the above inspection, the doctor may recommend additional tests to be performed. (Bloodwork, Fecal Screening, Anal Gland Expression, Toe Nail Trim, etc)

EMERGENCY CARE

 

We see small animal emergencies during the course of our regular business hours.  There are times we will refer your emergency to a 24 hour clinic when we feel it is in the best interest of your pet's health.
