Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic opened its doors fifteen years ago. Through the hard work its founders Dr. Mark Williams and his wife Denise Williams, a RVT, it has grown into a thriving practice with three veterinarians and a supporting staff of twenty-two. The doctors include Dr. Mark Williams, owner and lead doctor,

a 1988 graduate of UC Davis, with special interest in preventative health care, equine dentistry, and equine lameness. Dr. Sandy Sanford, also a 1988 graduate of UC Davis, is a board certified specialist with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, ABVP, and has advanced training in ultrasonography. Dr. Caroline Conn, a 1997 graduate of UC Davis, has special interest in animal behavior and physical therapy. Doctors Williams and Conn are mixed animal practitioners, while Dr. Sanford is a small animal practitioner.

In June of 2003, the clinic moved into a new, state of the art facility, which has enhanced the quality, productivity, and service of the practice. In-house resources include diagnostic ultrasound equipment, a video endoscope, radiology, in clinic lab equipment, three mobile units for equine / large animal care, and much more.
